Panel:

  • Manuel Villar, U.S Senate Security Operations Center Chief
  • David Amsler, CIO at Foreground Security
  • Steve Werby, Information Security Officer, VCU
  • Joe Hamblin, Senior Security Engineer, IBM

Mr. Ruiz will open the panel discussion with an introduction to the domain that include some of the key trends in the industry. Mr. Villar will talk about the unique security challenges they are currently facing within the US Senate, while Mr. Amsler will be talking about solutions that Foreground Security is bringing to bear to train Cyber Security professional and what are some of the risks that we will see emerging around Web 2.0 technologies. Mr. Werby will speak from the unique challenges posed to the VCU Infrastructure by the significant student population. Mr. Hamblin from IBM will discuss about innovative tools and technologies out of IBM that will prepare companies to manage and counter emerging threats.
